CALENDAR OF EVENTS
JULY 2010
All members are encouraged to
sponsor, co-sponsor or host events and activities that appear in the
Calendar of Events. Suggestions are: (1) Meal sharing hosted in
members’ homes (aka Potlucks); (2) Refreshments for the Monthly
Meetings; (3) Guest Speakers for the Monthly Meetings; (4) Hosting
special events, i.e. Walking Tours of Atlanta Neighborhoods, Dining
Out, Walking/Biking for Health, Book / Movie / Financial Discussion
groups, Special Tours in or near Atlanta. Any and all suggestions
for events are most welcome and appreciated.

Potluck — 1-5P
Bring the swimsuit, the sun tan lotion and your favorite dish as
Mark & Neil hosts this 3rd annual event. RSVP to Mark by

Tuesday, July 20— Going to the Movies
Bill W. is open to suggestions for lunch and a movie, dinner and a
movie or suggestions for both. Call Bill W. the Monday before and
plans can be made.
Thursday, July 22 – Luncheon at Mary Mac’s Tea Room — 11:15A
Since 1945 Mary Mac’s Tea Room has featured some of Atlanta’s best
Southern cooking. Location — 224 Ponce de Leon Ave. with ample
parking behind the restaurant; individual billings available. |
